What is a Facebook Business Page? 

Facebook Business Pages are public-facing Facebook accounts that allow local businesses, international brands, and public figures to interact with the Facebook community. 

Once you've created a Page for your business, you will be ready to publish content, share important company updates, promote events and new releases, and otherwise connect together with your audience via the most important social network in the world.

A Facebook Business Page also will offer you access to Facebook's robust advertising platform and Facebook Shops—two amazing tools you'll use to grow operations.




Create a Facebook Business Page on (Desktop) 

To create a Page for your business using your desktop computer: 
  1. Open your Facebook profile. 
  2. At the top of the homepage, select Create and choose Page. 
  3. Name your Page. 
  4. Add a category to explain your Page.
  5. Enter business information, like address and make contact with information. 
  6. Select Continue 
  7. You can add a profile photo to your Page. If you add a photo, select Next. to finish this step later, select Skip. 
  8. You can add a cover photo to your Page. If you add a photo, select Next. to finish this step later, select Skip. 
  9. When you have completed the steps, select Next to go to your new Page.





Create a Facebook Business Page on (Mobile) 

To create a Page for your business using your mobile device: 
  1. Open your Newsfeed. 
  2. Tap the Pages icon. 
  3.  Tap + Create. 
  4. Tap start.
  5. Add a name and up to 3 categories to explain your Page and tap Next. 
  6. You can add an address to your Page to create it easier for people to seek out your business, or tap I don’t want to feature an address. Tap Next. to finish this step later, tap Skip. 
  7. You can add a profile and cover photo to your Page. 
  8. Tap Done.


Track Your Facebook Business Page: 

You've created a gorgeous Facebook Business Page. But is it actually helping you achieve your goals? you will not know until you measure your results. 

Fortunately, Facebook offers an in-depth analytics dashboard called Insights. 

To access this dashboard, click the tab titled "Professional Dashboard" on the left-hand side of your home screen. 
Once inside, you will be ready to see valuable information about your:

  • Followers: study the Facebook users who follow your Page 
  • Reach: See the number of individuals who view your Page daily. 
  • Visits: Understand where your Page views are coming from.
Facebook Insights also will provide you with data on the content you publish to your Facebook Business Page.


Click the "Posts" or "Events" or "Stories" tabs to see which content gets the most engagement, i.e. likes, comments, and shares. Then adjust your content strategy to suit.
